When I was a young girl I LOVED Wonder Woman. I would run around the house pretending to be her. With her superhuman strength and superior fighting abilities what wasn’t to look up to.
As parents, we may never be a part of the Justice League, but God has given us each gifts that are really our super powers!
Here are a few of the gifts God has blessed me with as a parent. These are my super powers!
◦ Super senses-I may not have Spidey-senses, but I am able to know when one of my kiddos is having a problem that they are not ready to talk about. This super power allows me to have empathy towards any attitude or behaviors.
◦ Super speed-I may not be fast like Dash from the Incredibles, but I am efficient and have the ability to juggle multiple things at once. This super power allows me to provide support to family, friends and coworkers when they need it.
◦ Invisibility-I am no Sue Storm from the Fantastic Four, but I can and often do take a back seat to the important things that are happening in our family, allowing others to be visible and celebrated!
◦ Super Strength-While I don’t have strength like Captain America, but God did give me super strong patience. I use this super power EVERY DAY!
I hope you take time today to consider what super powers God has blessed you with. Feel free to comment below on what they are or tag a friend and let them know what super power you admire in them!

Also be on the lookout for my next blog which will focus on supporting and encouraging our children to be their true selves/who God designed them to be.

I discovered that my superpower is finding things that are invisible to everyone else I live with. It's quite handy and makes me indispensable!
